RAA to host SCS Jr Olympics

Riverside Aquatics Association will host the SCS Junior Olympics for Age Group Swimming from July 25-29, 2012, at the Riverside Aquatics Complex. Nearly 1,000 athletes are expected to compete in the five-day event.

The Riverside Aquatics Complex (RAC) celebrated its grand opening on January 21, 2011.  Thanks to a true community partnership of Measure C, Riverside Community College District, the city of Riverside, the county of Riverside, the RCCD Foundation, and private donors that contributed to the building of the RAC with the vision of launching Riverside as one of the top venues for high-level aquatic competitions.   Read more

Inland Southern California’s First Olympic-quality Aquatics Venue!

Located at Riverside City College, the project is a reality thanks to a true community partnership of Riverside Community College District, the City of Riverside, the County of Riverside, the RCCD Foundation and private donors.

Features:
• 65 meter all deep pool
• Diving tower with 3, 5, 7.5, and 10 meter platforms
• 1 meter and 3 meter springboards (2 each) poolside
• Moveable bulkhead allows for up to three simultaneous activities
• Competition lighting
• Locker rooms and team rooms
• Poolside bleachers
• 2 hydraulic lifts for disabled access (courtesy of Wells Fargo)
